Image Cropper

Crop an image to exact coordinates or centered 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, and 16:9 presets using local browser processing.

PNG, JPG, or WebP up to 20 MB, 8,192 px per side, and 16 megapixels.

Private by default

This tool processes your input in the current browser tab and does not upload it for processing.

How to crop an image

Choose a PNG, JPG, or WebP file. Enter custom X/Y/width/height values or use a centered 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, or 16:9 preset, then preview and export the crop.

Understanding crop coordinates

X measures pixels from the left edge and Y measures pixels from the top. The crop rectangle must remain inside the original image.

Privacy and limits

The selected image is decoded and rendered inside the current browser tab. MyTool0 does not upload the source file or generated result. A temporary object URL is used for previews and released when the file or result changes. Inputs are limited to 20 MB, 8,192 pixels per side, and 16 megapixels. Animated PNG/WebP inputs are rejected because cropping would otherwise export only one frame without warning. This version uses precise numeric controls rather than a drag handle, which improves repeatability but is less visual.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can I make a centered square crop?

Yes. Choose the 1:1 preset to fill the crop fields with the largest centered square. Other centered presets include 4:3, 3:2, and 16:9.

Does cropping resize the result?

No. The output dimensions equal the crop rectangle. Resize the result separately if needed.

Is the image sent anywhere?

No. Source pixels and the cropped output stay in the current browser tab.
