How to calculate days between dates

Choose a start and end date. The result shows complete years, months, days, total elapsed days, full weeks, and leftover days.

Calendar components reflect variable month and year lengths. Total days is a single elapsed-day count between the two dates.

Dates are processed locally and are not stored. Supported calendar years range from 1000 to 9999.

Questions

Can I enter the dates in reverse order?

Yes. The tool displays the absolute duration and notes that the original order was reversed.

Are both endpoint dates counted?

No. Total days measures elapsed days, so identical dates have a difference of zero.

Does daylight saving time change the result?

No. The processor uses calendar days rather than local clock-hour differences.
